Product Description

MASKCARE AV is specially designed, water borne breathable anti-microbial nano coating for fabric. MASKCARE AV is a durable self-protective nano coating against the growth of micro- organisms like virus, bacteria mold, fungi and yeasts and conforms to global standards JIS L 1902 and AATCC 100. The actives used are the cationic nano active dispersed into water and effective to inactivate pathogens on the surface, hence potential material to immobilize of microbes. Suitable for soft surfaces like all types of PPEs like mask, doctor coats, gloves, caps etc. and other textile, fabric, suiting, shirting, upholstery, curtains, home furnishing, car interior etc.

Application Guideline

The application of the coating is being conducted under normal temperature and surrounding conditions.

Surface Preparation:

Surface must be free from dust, dirt and any other foreign substances. Surface should be perfectly clean and dry before applying MASKCARE AV

Cleaning:

Clean all tools and spillage of paint with water immediately after application.

 

Mixing Application:
  • Shake well before use
  • Can be applied by spray, dip or Padding method
  • Apply uniform coat of MASKCARE AV either by spray / dip/Padding
  • Allow the surface to completely wet
  • For heat curing allow flash off of 5-10 minutes at ambient temperature
  • Cured at 80-1000C for 30 minutes
  • For ambient temperature curing, allow to air dry for 2 hours in sunlight or 4 hours at room temperature or can be cured using hot pressing iron

  • Coverage: 30-40 sq.ft. / ltr (subjected to application method and surface)
  • Product Shelf life: 12 months from date of manufacturing
  • Available pack size: 1 ltr, 5 ltr and 20 ltr
